We have positions for Chemical Engineers interested in joining our sales and licensing team as Applications Engineers working from our Buda, Texas office.  Applications Engineers meet with existing customers to encourage software license renewals and with prospects to secure new simulation software licensing.  Positions involve travel within the United States and internationally.

  • Host Teams, Zoom, and in-person meetings with existing and prospective clients
  • Attend conferences, author and present technical paper, develop prospects
  • Assist customers to use OGT software
  • Engage in customer technical support

We have a position for a Chemical Engineer with 10 to 15 years experience in sales and marketing to lead our sales group, and to develop further marketing strategies to secure increased market share. Responsibilities and objectives include:

  • Build and maintain a balanced mix of new and existing business across a portfolio of products & services to maximize new business opportunities
  • Manage monthly, quarterly & biannual pipeline/outlook forecasts
  • Provide direction, development, and inspiration to team members
  • Work collaboratively with your team of Application Engineers to ensure the best approach to market OGT’s product portfolio
  • Promote OGT on social media
  • Oversee day-to-day sales, monitoring, and forecasting to better understand the market
  • Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals set by upper Management
  • Cultivate and deepen client relationships and partnerships
  • Promote and support OGT’s consulting services in the industry
  • Define new market potentials for future software development
  • Create promotional marketing material and organize conferences
  • Develop policies and campaigns to take OGT into the future by maintaining our role as the premier supplier of process simulation software using the most advanced technologies.
