Optimized Gas Treating, Inc., the makers of ProTreat® simulation software, are hosting a free, full-day seminar at the Radisson Airport Hotel in Calgary, May 29th, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Topics Include:
• Fundamentals of the Mass Transfer Rate Model
• Special Challenges in Treating Shale Gas
• Stable Operating Limits with piperazine-activated MDEA
• Effects of Heat Stable Salts on Amine Plant Performance
Includes continental breakfast and lunch, but space is limited, so please make your reservation by sending name and contact information to us at info@ogtrt.com or by calling +1 281-970-2700
ProTreat Version 5.0 now simulates sour water strippers on a mass transfer rate basis. Includes the effect of heat stable salts and caustic injection.
ProTreat now uses a mass transfer rate-based model to determine how ammonia is distributed in amine systems and the precise effect of purging.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website. Please explore the site and let us know what you think.
ProTreat Version 5.0 is now available for download from the support area for licensed users.
"I have used ProTreat for the last 5 years or so and find it of great assistance in providing the technical detail that design engineers require. It is also very good in helping to understand and troubleshoot process problems in amine units."
"ProTreat helped us to justify our new approaches in the field of hydrocarbons' amine desulfurization, acid gas enrichment and amine section of tail gas treatment units."
"Of the commercially available software I have used, ProTreat has been the easiest to pick up and use."
"Contacted the ProTreat support several times and always got a helpful reply in time."
"We just trust the numbers - they've never been wrong."
"It's uncanny how closely ProTreat matches good plant data. If I find a discrepancy between ProTreat and data coming from the plant, I always look to see what's wrong with the plant."
"ProTreat, an easy to use program, was invaluable in predicting operations for two refineries requiring a temporary tie together of their primary and TGU amine systems saving the costs of unit shutdowns."
"Seeing the effect of heat stable salts is very beneficial in making reclaiming decisions."
"I've used ProTreat since its inception. The ultimate measure of software is my willingness to run a simulation in front of a client in an emergency troubleshooting situation, without any fear that I'll get bad information. To date, it hasn't let me down! "
"ProTreat models CO2 slip and tail gas treaters extremely well. Very high reliability and far less design uncertainty."
"I have been using ProTreat software for more than 4 years. ProTreat is always upgrading and improving their software. This software is good for solving applications like gas sweetening units and is also easy to use. Their technical support is excellent."
"A truly accurate piperazine model is a real edge."
