Clayton E. Jones

Clay joined Optimized Gas Treating, Inc. as Development Engineer in 2012 where his duties include improving the ProTreat simulation software and assisting customers with technical support. He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from McNeese State University in 1999 and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in 2001. He spent 11 years with ConocoPhillips at their refinery in Lake Charles, LA serving roles which included Process Safety Management, project design, support of operating units, and turnaround planning and support. Clay’s field experience includes amine contactors and regenerators, sour water strippers, sulfur plants, lube oil hydrocracking / hydrodewaxing / hydrofinishing, and utilities. He has been a licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana since 2004.
