Jeff joined OGT as a Development Engineer in March 2021.  He obtained a B.Sc. in chemical engineering from the University of Rochester in 2016 and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2020.  At UT Austin, Jeff researched reactive dividing wall distillation columns by carrying out lab-scale experiments and developing validation models.  Through this work, he has both experimental and modeling experience in phase equilibria, reaction kinetics, reactive distillation, and reactive dividing wall distillation.  During his graduate studies, Jeff also assisted with performing experimental pilot-plant studies within UT Austin’s Separations Research Program and completed an internship within the Scale-Up and Process Innovation division of Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport, TN.
